Reading on a phone outside or under bright lights can get old fast, especially when the screen is full of glare. The TCL 60 XE NXTPAPER 5G is built for everyday use, and there’s a deal on Amazon right now that makes it even more tempting.
This unlocked Android phone is down to $199.98 from its $284.99 recommended retail price, a 30% discount. That saves you about $85. It’s a Lightning Deal too, and it was already 73% claimed at the time of writing, so this one may not stick around for long.
The big draw here is the NXTPAPER display. TCL describes it as a matte, paper-like screen made to cut glare and reduce eye strain, with a reading-friendly mode that gives it more of an e-reader feel than most phones in this price range. You also get a 6.8-inch 120Hz display, which should help with smoother scrolling while browsing, reading, and streaming.
This 256GB model also packs 8GB of RAM, plus virtual RAM expansion and microSD support up to 2TB, so there’s plenty of room for apps, photos, videos, and downloads. Other key features include 5G connectivity, a 5,010mAh battery, and a 50MP main camera. TCL positions the phone more for solid daily tasks like browsing, routine apps, and media than for heavy gaming, which fits the whole package well.
For anyone who wants a budget-friendly phone with lots of storage and a screen that’s easier on the eyes, this TCL 60 XE NXTPAPER 5G deal is worth a look on Amazon.
