The Grand Patron of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement, Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, has asked the people of Ondo State to translate the state’s two million registered voters into massive votes for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu.
He reminded the people of the state that President Tinubu is their son and should therefore lead the bid to re-elect him for a second term.
Tompolo stated this during the inauguration of local government and ward coordinators of the Movement on Tuesday in Akure, the Ondo State capital, where he also presented 26 vehicles to support grassroots mobilisation for the president’s re-election in 2027.
Represented by the Managing Director of Tantita Security Services, Kestin Pondi, at the event, Tompolo stated, “Become ambassadors and translate the 2m registered voters into votes.
“We are inaugurating local government and ward coordinators today with 26 vehicles to reach every nook and cranny, and creeks to hear the PBAT story.
“The president is the son of the South West, and he is doing well. Today, we no longer have fuel queues; we no longer have ASUU strike; salaries and pensions are being paid. Preach it everywhere. I urge you to encourage the President with your votes in 2027.”
The grant patron asked people not to allow Tinubu’s opponent in the 16 January 2027 presidential poll to deceive them, saying they have no history of verifiable results.
“Do not be deceived by political opponents who have no history of verifiable results, but I appeal to you to support the All Progressives Congress (APC) across all elective positions in the 2027 general elections,” he said.
Speaking at the event, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa commended the Movement for supporting the state government’s effort to re-elect the president, adding that the state was already committed to the project.
Mr Aiyedatiwa praised Tompolo for the vehicles and stressed that the donation is meant to avoid voter apathy, assuring that the vehicles would improve mobility and carry the message of Renewed Hope to all parts of the state.
“Ondo State is for Asiwaju. That’s where we stand. So, let me thank the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement for donating these vehicles, which will ease mobility and ensure our coordinators reach every part of this state.
“We will continue to welcome all support groups in support of the President and all APC candidates in the state. Any support group that is not for all our candidates would not be welcomed here. We guarantee you all the necessary support and security and assure you that there is no going back in this endeavour,” the governor said.
Earlier, the National Coordinator of the Movement, Sunday Asuku, urged the people of Ondo State to challenge the opposition and ask them why Nigeria is where it is today.
“You must ask the opposition very hard questions about why our country is where it is today. Most of them were in power for a long time and left us where we are, and that is why the president is making hard decisions for a better tomorrow.
“Today, our students are in school, no ASUU strike, and they are getting their tuition paid and receiving allowances. To all the students in Ondo and beyond, this is the time to vote massively so that NELFUND would stay and continue to benefit many more of you,” Mr Asuku said.
Kolawole Babatunde, the APC chairman in Ondo State, assured that the state would deliver at least one million votes to the president in the presidential election.
He commended Mr Aiyedatiwa for his continued support to local government and ward coordinators.
He said the state government has continued to deploy resources for the re-election of the president and all APC candidates.
Gombe
In Gombe, Tompolo also donated 26 vehicles to facilitate door-to-door campaigns and mobilise voters for President Tinubu through a grassroots campaign strategy covering communities, local government areas, religious institutions and other public spaces.

“Your Excellency, today we came into Gombe to inaugurate the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement chapter of Gombe State and also to bring vehicles that will support the message,” the Movement’s grand patron, represented by Mr Pondi, said at the occasion attended by Governor Inuwa Yahaya.
Also speaking, Mr Asuku urged residents to support the president, saying his administration is committed to development across the country’s six geopolitical zones.
He cited the establishment of development commissions for different regions and the restoration of local government financial autonomy as measures that demonstrated the president’s commitment to inclusive governance.
Mr Asuku urged voters not to be swayed by opposition parties, calling on Gombe residents to support President Tinubu for a second term.
In his remarks, Mr Yahaya thanked Tompolo and the Movement for bringing the vehicles and other campaign materials to support the mobilisation effort.
He declared that the APC was united and committed to securing President Tinubu’s re-election.
He expressed confidence that the party would win in the state.
Mr Yahaya said the state was implementing an agricultural development programme targeting farmers, herders, processors, and young people engaged in agricultural activities, supported by a N130 billion grant approved by President Tinubu for the initiative.
