A. Duie Pyle has opened a 44-door less-than-truckload (LTL) service center in the Cincinnati area, expanding its direct freight network in southwest Ohio just two weeks after opening a nearly 79,000-square-foot warehouse in central Pennsylvania.
The two most recent openings follow other investments aimed at expanding Pyle’s transportation and distribution capabilities beyond its traditional Northeast stronghold.
In January, FreightWaves reported that Pyle had acquired a 43-acre site at the Port 460 Logistics Center in Suffolk, Virginia, near the Port of Virginia.
Pyle has also expanded into U.S.–Mexico cross-border freight transportation over the last year.
The West Chester, Pennsylvania-based carrier announced Tuesday that the new service center in Cincinnati will strengthen freight connections between the Midwest region and its established Northeast and Mid-Atlantic markets.

The Cincinnati facility is expected to create 21 jobs initially, with employment projected to reach approximately 36 by the end of 2026, according to the company.
“Growing our network is about being where our customers need us and creating stronger connections between the markets they serve,” Frank Granieri, chief commercial officer at A. Duie Pyle, said in a news release.
The opening is part of a broader westward expansion strategy announced in 2025, when Pyle outlined plans to establish additional service centers in Ohio to improve transit times and reduce its reliance on partner carriers.
In March 2025, John Luciani, Pyle’s chief operating officer for LTL operations, told FreightWaves the company was pursuing new terminals in Columbus, Toledo and Cincinnati to expand its direct overnight service footprint.
The carrier had acquired a former Yellow Corp. terminal in Bowling Green, Ohio, to serve the Toledo market and leased a facility in Columbus as part of that expansion.
The Cincinnati opening advances that strategy by bringing more freight movements in southwest Ohio directly into Pyle’s network, potentially reducing intermediate transfers and improving service consistency.
The Cincinnati opening follows Pyle’s Oct. 6 announcement of a new 78,760-square-foot warehouse in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania.
The Camp Hill warehouse sits adjacent to the company’s existing LTL service center, creating an integrated logistics campus that combines freight transportation and inventory storage.
The Camp Hill facility provides access to several major freight corridors, including Interstates 81, 76 and 83 and U.S. Route 15.
Pyle said the location is particularly suited for customers in healthcare, medical supplies and manufacturing that require consistent inventory availability and just-in-time replenishment.
Founded in 1924, A. Duie Pyle is a privately held, family-owned transportation and logistics company offering LTL trucking, dedicated transportation, warehousing and brokerage services.
Why it matters: A. Duie Pyle’s investments strengthen the company’s direct-service capabilities in Ohio while expanding its ability to combine transportation and warehousing across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.
