With the women’s-exclusive Air Jordan 4 Retro Linen set to return in 2027 after more than 20 years and a brand-new “Spotlight” Air Jordan 4 also on the way in women’s sizing, a first look has surfaced at yet another upcoming exclusive style of Michael Jordan’s fourth signature sneaker — but only kids and those will smaller feet will be able to wear this one.
The kid’s-exclusive Air Jordan 4 Retro “Hang Time” is scheduled to arrive at retail in February and ahead of the launch, official e-commerce images from JD Sports have surfaced.
The photos show a full look at the upcoming Deep Royal Blue/Black colorway, which also blends in portions of light ice blue and infrared accents. Aside from its new colorway, the Hang Time style features a number of unique details including a Jumpman logo surrounded by clouds on the tongue and insole, the former of which includes a removable Velcro patch reminiscent of the Air Jordan 4’s various Rare Air makeups.
Signature Air Jordan 4 elements such as a splatter print midsole are also included, and the pair will come with a removable Jumpman-branded hangtag keychain.
Along with this kid’s Hang Time colorway and the aforementioned women’s Linen and Spotlight styles, there’s plenty of other Air Jordan 4 output on the horizon next year. Most notable is the return of the sneaker’s original Fire Red colorway, and there’s also Georgetown, Jackie Robinson and Bloodline-themed looks lined up for 2027.
The Air Jordan 4 Retro Hang Time will be released exclusively in grade school ($165, style code IU4601-400), preschool ($105) and toddler ($90) sizes with an expected release date of Feb. 1, although it’s possible the exact launch timing could change between now and then. Readers can expect availability from nike.com and select Jordan Brand retailers.
