Addressing an event, Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched a sharp attack against Rahul Gandhi and the Congress party, asserting that the opposition cannot mislead people through protests. Highlighting long-standing electoral defeats of the Congress across multiple states such as Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, and Tamil Nadu, Amit Shah questioned their narrative regarding vote tampering. He stated that the Bharatiya Janata Party stays connected with the grassroots, saying, "On the basis of your negative politics, I say your government will not be formed for the next 30 years." He also accused the opposition of double standards for praising the Election Commission of India and the courts only when election outcomes or legal rulings favour them while criticising democratic institutions during losses. Furthermore, Amit Shah targeted the Aam Aadmi Party over governance in Delhi and Punjab, asserting that the National Democratic Alliance will win Punjab and end the illegal drug trade by 2029 while fulfilling the vision of cleaning the Yamuna under Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
