Aekyung Industrial Wins ISO 37301 Certification

(Provided by Aekyung Industrial)  Certification Covers Headquarters, Plants, and Research Centers Through Sep. 1, 2029 Aekyung Industrial has won international recognition for the strength of its legal and ethical risk management system across its business operations. The Korea Compliance Institute (KCI) confirmed that Aekyung Industrial’s compliance management system conforms to 'ISO 37301:2021', an international standard established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), and granted the certification. The certification was first obtained in September, and it remains valid until Sep. 1, 2029. ISO 37301 is used as a benchmark to assess whether an organization has a system in place to systematically fulfill legal obligations, regulations and ethical standards, and to effectively manage non-compliance risks. The scope of the certification covers all of Aekyung Industrial’s key business sites. It includes the company’s headquarters and Creative Center in Mapo-gu, Seoul, as well as the Cheongyang Plant in Chungcheongnam-do and the Daejeon Research Center in Yuseong-gu, Daejeon. The Korea Compliance Institute, which conducted the audit, is an institution accredited by the International Accreditation Service (IAS). The institute finalized the certification after comprehensively reviewing Aekyung Industrial’s compliance management framework, operating processes and related activities. Aekyung Industrial said the achievement reflects its continued efforts to put its core corporate values of "Innovation and Challenge," "Gratitude and Communication," and "Trust and Integrity" into practice. Chief Executive Officer Kim Sang-jun of Aekyung Industrial said, "This certification represents external recognition of our efforts to establish and manage a compliance management system across our business operations," adding, "We will continue to pursue sustainable growth based on responsible management that complies with laws and principles."
