Katseye’s Daniela Uses This ‘Holy Grail’ Product to Get a ‘Siren Eye’

The members of Katseye may be perfectly in sync when it comes to their dance moves, but their eye makeup is another story. When sharing her beauty secrets with Vogue, Daniela contrasts her signature look with that of her bandmate Yoonhchae.

“I feel like I have the complete opposite makeup look as Yoonchae,” the 22-year-old says. “First of all, Yoonchae doesn’t do a siren eye; she does the opposite. She does the doe eye. It looks so good on her face.” As for Daniela, she’ll opt for alluring over innocent eyes any day—and she has just the drugstore product to achieve the look.

After lining her eyes with jet-black wings, the Georgia native reaches for a tube of L’Oréal Paris Telescopic Mascara. “Holy grail,” she says of the product, which she’s been using since high school. While lightly brushing the tip of the wand back and forth over the ends of her lashes, Daniela explains, “I brush them more out for that siren look.”

There is one product Daniela and Yoonchae have in common, though: Anua Heartleaf 77+Hyaluron. “I’ve learned a lot—especially about skin care—with the girlies,” she says. “Honestly, I didn’t know anything about Korean skin care before coming into Katseye. That was a game changer, for sure.”
