The Seattle Seahawks just lost to the San Francisco 49ers 32-29, with key fumbles from both Emanuel Wilson and George Holani leading to Niners TDs. Seattle has a short week, as they play the Denver Broncos on the road for Thursday Night Football. If you were hoping for an infusion at the RB position with Zach Charbonnet, I have some bad news for you. According to Mike Macdonald, Charbonnet will not play against Denver.
“Way too many giveaways at this point in the season,” Mike Macdonald said in his opening remarks.

Four turnovers today — they turned into 21 49ers points — gives Seattle nine in five games.

Charbonnet is still recovering from his torn ACL from last season. He’s been ramping up in practice since his practice window was opened, but is still not quite ready to go yet according to Macdonald. Seattle is in a bit of a gauntlet in their schedule right now, having faced the 49ers with the Broncos and Kansas City Chiefs up next. With the fumble problems and ineffectiveness at times of the Seahawks running game, the hope is that Charbonnet will be a shot in the arm.
Unfortunately, that shot will have to wait another week. Wilson, Holani, Velus Jones Jr, and Robert Henry Jr will continue to be the backs moving forward.
