OLEDs are known for having the best picture quality TVs can offer, if you're okay with the trade-offs. One of the biggest cons of OLEDs is their price; if you've never owned an OLED because they've cost too much, Samsung made an OLED that's within reach: the Samsung S90H Series TV. Right now, the 65-inch Samsung S90H Series TV is $1,497.99 (originally $1,897.99) after a 21% discount, reaching its lowest price ever according to price tracking tools. This TV is also considered one of the best OLED TVs for most people.
What makes the Samsung S90H TV stand out is its picture quality, because it's comparable to far more expensive OLEDs. Some other stand-out features are its excellent response time for gaming—9.33 milliseconds, according to CNET's review—and its anti-reflective filter, which makes it a great fit for bright environments.
The display's anti-reflective coating helps eliminate glare and reflections while watching TV during the day or when lamps or lights are placed at angles that can make the screen less visible. This is a huge benefit—OLED TVs are known to already not be as bright as QLEDs. On top of the specialized coating, the light output of the S90H is comparable to more expensive OLEDs, like the LG C6, reaching up to 1,600 nits of brightness.
The S90H comes with Amazon Alexa built in, has AI Motion Enhancer Pro (a type of motion smoothing), 4K AI Upscaling Pro (an upscaling technology that increases the resolution), and comes with Samsung's updated Tizen OS.
If you've been wanting to upgrade to an OLED but haven't been able to justify the price, the S90H is an incredibly worthwhile option.
