British comedian Ricky Gervais will be back in Lisbon in March for a show as part of his European tour.
In a statement, promoter Live Nation said the show will take place on March 19 at the MEO Arena.
“Having kicked off the tour in September of this year with an initial run of sold-out dates in the UK, the show will continue touring the world until the end of 2027, at which point it will be filmed and become its 5th comedy special for Netflix,” Live Nation added.
Pre-sale tickets, with prices yet to be announced, begin on Wednesday at 10am, with general sales starting on Friday at the same time.
Ricky Gervais, 65, has starred in memorable series such as “The Office,” “Extras,” “Life’s Too Short,” “Derek,” and “After Life.”
The effervescent comedian won two Emmy Awards for Best Actor in a comedy series for “The Office” in 2006 and “Extras” in 2007, and has been delighting (and shocking) audiences ever since, with his inimitable flair for saying just what no-one was expecting.
