First Lady of Nigeria Oluremi Tinubu on Thursday received China’s Ambassador to Nigeria, Yu Dunhai, at the State House, Abuja.
The Chinese ambassador visited the First Lady alongside a delegation of officials from the Chinese Embassy.
The delegation included China’s Deputy Ambassador, Zhou Hongyou; Director of the Political Sector, Zhu Songbo; and Third Secretary of the Political Sector, Mrs Wu Yijun.
During the visit, the ambassador presented a gift to the First Lady.
The meeting took place against the backdrop of Nigeria-China diplomatic relations, with both countries maintaining bilateral engagement across various areas of mutual interest.
However, details of the discussions and the specific purpose of the ambassador’s visit were not immediately available.
