1 killed, 11 injured in Oct 11 attack on Riyadh airport
A Pakistani resident was killed, and 11 people were injured in an October 11 attack on Saudi Arabia's King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, according to the kingdom's General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA).
The injured were immediately transferred to several hospitals to receive the necessary medical care, the authority said, adding that the extent of property damage due to the attack is being assessed.
Yemen's Houthis late on Sunday claimed responsibility for attacks on Riyadh's airport "in the past 24 hours", with military spokesman Yahya Saree saying the group "carried out four qualitative operations".
Saree said they also targeted the Dammam airport and two facilities belonging to the Saudi state oil company Aramco.
