Villarreal goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi will be unavailable tonight for the match his team is set to play at La Cerámica against Napoli due to the severe emotional impact suffered after the armed robbery of which he has been the victim in the last few hours.
As the club from La Plana has reported, the footballer suffered an armed robbery during the early hours of this morning while he was at home with his family. The yellow club has reported that, fortunately, no member of his family was injured. The emotional impact has been such that the player is not in condition to play in a match like the one the yellows are playing tonight against Napoli
Peter Gulacsi, who arrived at Villarreal this summer, lives with his wife and his two young children, which gives a good idea of the impact that the scare they went through has had on the family.
This is not the first time that a similar incident has happened to a player from the yellow team. In previous seasons, players such as Toko Ekambi or Zambo Anguissa had already suffered similar situations. Also at Valencia, in previous campaigns, several footballers reported these incidents, such as Garay, Gabriel Paulista or Kondogbia.
