A former glamour model married to a millionaire banking heir has sparked a row with neighbours over her plans to turn a country pub into a boutique hotel and yoga barn.
Lady Loretta Rothschild, 36, submitted plans to add ten bedrooms, a 70-seat restaurant and yoga studio to the 16th-century Seven Stars Inn in Bottlesford, a hamlet in Wiltshire.
The model previously appeared on The Sun's Page 3 and married 55-year-old Lord Nathaniel Rothschild, part of the Rothschild financier dynasty, in 2016.
After buying the inn in October last year for £800,000, Lady Rothschild submitted plans to Wiltshire Council for the partial demolition, refurbishment and extension of the existing pub.
She also asked for planning permission to build guest accommodation and 'leisure facilities' according to planning documents.
But residents have said the revamped business may represent overdevelopment and bring heavy traffic and congestion to the hamlet.
Previously a pub, the business closed in August last year after the landlord struggled to bring it to profitability.
Though dozens of comments on the plans supported the proposals, others said the setting was inappropriate for such a large development.

Patrick Wilson, a resident, said the idea that Lady Rothschild's plans would represent 'a continuation of a community pub' was 'lost entirely' because of the project's scale.
He said plans to triple floorspace on the site, increase the number of guest rooms by sixfold and quadruple the number of parking spaces was 'too intensive for a small rural site' on a single-lane road.
Alison Tilling added that while she 'fully recognised the important role that a village pub can play in fostering and maintaining a strong sense of community', the lane on which the inn was built is 'fundamentally constrained by its rural character' and would not be able to support such a development.
Ms Tilling added: 'The impact of the substantial construction traffic during the development phase would be hugely significant and negative for us residents.
'Then, on completion, the increase in traffic from delivery and service vehicles as well as staff and customers will likely result in congestion, additional difficulties in passing and risk to cyclists, pedestrians, horse riders and dog walkers.'
In short, she said: 'Great idea, wrong locality.'
Sue Parsons, another resident, said she supported the 'principle' of a viable village pub but said Lady Rothschild's proposal was for a 'tourist site'.
But others welcomed the plans as a means of recovering their village pub.

Deborah Lam said she had lived in Bottlesford for more than 30 years and said the previous inn had been 'the glue that holds the local community together', adding it had been 'sorely missed' since closing.
She said residents had met outside the closed pub on Christmas Day last year to celebrate and come together.
Ms Lam added: 'With so many pubs closing on a daily basis it is understandable that it is not a financially viable investment to develop and run the pub just as a local 'boozer' with food.
'The plans are ambitious but as others have mentioned the quality of the contractors are of the highest level so I have no doubt that the exterior of the development will be sympathetic to our beautiful surroundings and the interior reflect a country pub aesthetic.'
Marion Lightbown, another resident who attended the Christmas gathering, said she had lived on Gores Road for 35 years and 'desperately' wanted to see the pub open its doors again.
But though she supported the application, she said there should be more consideration given to those living nearby.
She said problems with the plans included placing rubbish bins near homes, pedestrians' safety on the road and the 'noisy recycling of bottles'.
The application's consultation deadline was last week though it is unclear when a decision will be made.
Lady Rothschild is one of a number of wealthy individuals who have bought up treasured pubs on the brink of closure despite being highly valued by their communities.
Graham Thomson, the inn's former licensee, told the Daily Mail in January the pub had been 'on its knees' when he sold it to the ex-glamour model.
Mr Thomson added Lady Rothschild's purchase reflected a trend where 'money keeps going away from the common man' but said he was happy the pub would survive.
A spokesman for Lord Rothschild, who has been teetotal for almost 30 years, said his family had 'a deep affinity with the local area and farm 3,500 acres' near the site of the inn.
'The pub is a critical part of the local community, and it was on Lady Rothschild's initiative that the decision was taken to save it.'
A former girlfriend of the actor and comedian Steve Coogan, Lady Rothschild became engaged to her husband in December 2015 before marrying the following year.
She met Coogan in 2011 when he guest-edited the March edition of Loaded magazine as his comedy character Alan Partridge, with one photograph showing him cupping her breasts with his bare hands.

The couple split in 2014.
Lady Rothschild, originally from Essex, appeared on The Sun's Page 3 as a topless model more than 20 times and posed nearly naked for lads' mags under the name Elle Basey.
Last year she said she was still 'so proud' of her previous career and appearances on Page 3, telling The Telegraph she would 'always celebrate that achievement'.
As a child she also appeared in Coronation Street as Rosie Webster.
Lord Rothschild has been married once before to Annabelle Neilson, the late best friend of supermodel Kate Moss and a muse of fashion designer Alexander McQueen.
They divorced three years after tying the knot in Las Vegas in 1995 and he went on to date Vogue model Eliza Cummings and Princess Florence von Preussen, the great-great-granddaughter of Kaiser Wilhelm II.
With a family fortune in the hundreds of millions, the Rothschild banking family heir was a member of the notorious Bullingdon Club at Oxford with former chancellor George Osborne.
His political contacts also included Peter Mandelson, who was removed as Britain's ambassador to the US last year over his ties to the paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
In October 2008, it was revealed that Mandelson and Russian tycoon Oleg Deripaska had met when they both went to Corfu to attend a party hosted by Lord Rothschild.
Mr Osborne was also at the event and Lord Rothschild later wrongly alleged that the then-shadow chancellor tried to attract a donation from the oligarch for the Conservative Party.
