For most people, being too short is the problem at amusement parks. For San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama, it's the opposite.
The 7-foot-4 center recently visited Six Flags Fiesta Texas with several teammates to get into the Halloween spirit during the park's annual Fright Fest. But his towering height presented a different kind of obstacle when it came to riding the attractions.

Speaking Monday, October 19, a day before the Spurs' regular-season opener, Wembanyama joked about being unable to ride any of the park's attractions.
"I didn't do any rides. I can't do it safely...," Wembanyama said during the press conference. "I didn't pass the height requirement."
Videos shared on social media showed Wembanyama at the San Antonio amusement park alongside teammates Dylan Harper, Devin Vassell, Stephon Castle and Julian Champagnie.
During the press conference, Wembanyama noted that he rode roller coasters as a child, but as he grew taller, he eventually became too tall for some rides.
The visit came just before the Spurs opened their 2026-27 season Tuesday against the Oklahoma City Thunder at the Frost Bank Center. Tip-off is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. central time.
