The AHSAA playoffs open Nov. 6 and continue throughout November before the Super 7 state championships are held Dec. 2-5 in Mobile.
AISA teams are nearing the closing weeks of their schedules as well in the last season of the association's athletic programs. The first round of the AISA playoffs is set for Nov. 6, followed by the semifinals Nov. 12 and the state championships Nov. 19 at Cramton Bowl in Montgomery.
