Flamboyance clearly runs in the Chivayo family. Joachim Chivayo, the cousin brother of Zimbabwean businessman Wicknell Chivayo and popularly known by his nickname G6, has been making waves on social media after a video emerged showing him presenting his wife, Amai, with a jaw-dropping birthday gift.

The present in question was a brand-new 2026 BMW 760i xDrive Sedan, a vehicle that retails for between KSh 16,130,000 and KSh 25,680,083 in Kenya depending on the import route and dealer specifications.
A pink BMW unlike any other
What made the moment truly unforgettable was the car's stunning appearance. The 760i was originally finished in black, but G6 had it transformed before the big reveal. The vehicle was wrapped in Ceramic Pro SHIFT in Wildberry Pink, a colour-infused Paint Protection Film that merges bold aesthetics with serious protective qualities.
The wrap delivers vivid colour and remarkable visual depth while shielding the original paintwork underneath from everyday wear. The result is a car that is equal parts head-turner and conversation starter, and it certainly got people talking online.
How much is a BMW 760i?
The BMW 760i xDrive is firmly at the top end of the luxury saloon market. For Kenyan buyers, the cost of entry starts at around KSh 16 million via CIF or landed cost estimates, but showroom pricing from local importers and luxury vehicle dealers can push the figure to over KSh 25 million, particularly when optional packages and custom configurations are factored in.
The video of the gift presentation circulated widely on social media, drawing significant attention to G6 and his wife. Some of the photos and videos that have emerged show a helicopter parked on a tennis court, while a convoy comprising a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon, a Rolls-Royce Cullinan and Mercedes-Maybach accompanied the presentation.
Amai, who was overjoyed beyond words, could be seen kneeling to thank her husband for the precious birthday gift.

This is not the first luxury car G6 is gifting his wife. His gifting spree started in 2023 when he gifted her a white Range Rover on her birthday; in 2024, he bought her a Mercedes G-Wagon for her birthday; in 2025, he gifted her a Rolls Royce.

At the funeral, G6 had led mourners in a moving tribute and described how Wicknell’s ambitions and generosity intensified in his final years. His return to public life so soon after the loss drew mixed reactions, with some suggesting the family was trying to lift his spirits while others said life had to go on.
