Binance’s tokenized stock platform, bStocks, now holds more than $1 billion in assets under management. Users have also converted over $6 billion between bStocks tokens and the US shares that back them.
The platform launched on June 11, 2026.
What bStocks actually does
Each bStocks token is a BEP-20 asset on BNB Chain. The issuer is BTech Holdings Limited, a Binance affiliate.
The tokens are backed 1:1 by underlying US shares held with regulated custodians. Every token on the chain maps to an actual share sitting in custody somewhere.
The product covers both tokenized US stocks and exchange-traded funds. Binance charges no conversion fees for moving between the tokens and the underlying assets.
How fast it got here
bStocks hit $100 million in AUM within 15 days of launch.
Binance’s figures later put AUM at approximately $888 million before the platform pushed past the $1 billion line.
Several features characterize the product:
Around-the-clock trading. bStocks tokens trade 24/7.
Low entry point. Fractional shares start at $5.
Collateral use. The tokens can be posted as collateral for margin trading on the platform.
As of mid-October 2026, bStocks supported 95 stock tokens. The lineup leans heavily toward tech.
Uptake has been especially strong among non-US users. Emerging markets and younger, crypto-curious investors stand out as key demographics.
The fine print
The tokens do not carry voting rights or dividend rights. What token holders get is price exposure, free transferability, and the ability to use the token as collateral.
The infrastructure falls under the Abu Dhabi Global Market jurisdiction. That framework governs how the underlying US shares are held.
Binance has widened access to different user tiers after suitability checks.
Background: the tokenization push
bStocks sits inside a broader trend known as tokenized real-world assets. The idea is to take something that exists off-chain, like a share of stock, and represent it as a token that can move on a blockchain.
Binance has projected that bStocks may reach $10 billion in AUM by the end of the year, pointing to growing interest in tokenized RWAs.
