A child has died after being found unresponsive at their home in Yorkshire.
South Yorkshire Police said the force was called at 4.39pm on Monday (Oct 19) at a property in Darnall, Sheffied.
An air ambulance was also deployed and landed in a local park.
A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Police said the child was taken to hospital where, despite the best efforts of emergency services, they were sadly pronounced dead.

The force added: “The child’s death is currently being treated as unexplained. Their family are being supported by our officers in this difficult time.”
The air ambulance helicopter sent to the scene landed in Darnall Community Park on Darnall Road.
Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust said ambulance resources attended a private address following reports of a medical emergency.
