Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb isn’t phased by his team’s two-game losing streak.
When speaking to reporters on Friday ahead of Dallas’ Week 7 matchup against the Eagles, Lamb insisted that the NFC East is still up for grabs despite the Cowboys’ 2-4 record on the year.
“Anybody can win this division, so why not us?” Lamb said, according to ESPN.

Lamb added that he believes the Cowboys have time to turn things around because other teams in the division have been playing poorly, with the Giants leading the pack at a modest 3-2-1 thus far.
“Very fortunate that everybody else is playing pretty bad. But overall, just everything is still in front of us,” he added. “We still have our opportunity to do what we want to do, and that’s to get in the tournament, and it starts on Monday.
“So just shaking that back and getting back into the win column I feel like is the most important thing, and that’s been the point of emphasis this week.”
Despite going into this season with high expectations, the Cowboys’ defensive metrics are among the worst in the NFL, ranking 25th in points allowed per game (26.5), 30th in yards (382.5) and dead last in run defense (149.8 yards).

With their offense now stalling as well — scoring just 29 points combined in the last two games — the Cowboys’ next few weeks are crucial for remaining a division contender.
Quarterback Dak Prescott admitted that the mindset of the team is “determined, and I would hope urgent,” going into Monday’s game in Philadelphia.
“We can only say we’ve got a lot of games in front of us for so long. Might be already past us, right? We’ve got to go win,” Prescott said. “You’ve got to go win. You want to give yourself a chance to be a winning team, to be a playoff team.
“You got to win as many games as you can, and when you drop two games — in particular games that we didn’t expect to drop — it makes it that much harder. So urgent, urgent to get it done now.”
