The European Union (EU) has begun developing membership plans for Moldova, Ukraine and Armenia, which are directly related to Russia's strategic security, stated Grigory Karasin, First Deputy Chairman of the Russian Federation Council Committee on International Affairs, TASS reports.
"We must take into account the European Union's ambitions to expand once again. They have begun developing membership plans for such states as Moldova, Ukraine, as well as Armenia. These plans directly affect the strategic security of our homeland," Karasin noted.
