The polls are open!
It's time to vote for the Halifax Health Volusia-Flagler Girls Athlete of the Week for the week of Oct. 12-17.
Two weeks ago, Flagler Palm Coast volleyball player Kaitlyn Ebding captured the honors, claiming 45% of the votes. The senior posted 26 digs, 23 serve receptions and four aces in a 3-1 victory over Seabreeze.

To round out the ballot, our staff also picks athletes from scores and stats posted online or submitted by local coaches. Athletes for all in-season sports, except football, are eligible. The News-Journal recognizes the local gridiron stars with our weekly game balls story.
