Colombo, Oct. 13 (Daily Mirror) - The Government will credit Rs. 2.04 billion in Aswesuma welfare benefits to the bank accounts of eligible beneficiaries on October 14, 2026.
A total of Rs. 2,041,711,250 will be transferred to the Aswesuma bank accounts of the relevant beneficiaries, who will be able to withdraw the funds from tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Rs. 9,123,802,500 has been allocated to the Aswesuma Welfare Benefit Scheme for October 2026 for 985,283 beneficiary families under the first phase.
The beneficiaries will be able to access their payments through their respective Aswesuma bank accounts from October 14.
