The man called the "fixer" of a scheme to rig college basketball games will spend six years in federal prison.
Jalen Smith was sentenced in Philadelphia federal court on Tuesday.
The 30-year-old pleaded guilty to bribery and wire fraud charges earlier this year.
Prosecutors say he played a central role in fixing NCAA Division 1 games between February 2024 and 2025.
He recruited players to underperform in games, which allowed gamblers in the know to profit from the games.
