Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan has finally joined Instagram after staying away from social media for years and offered his fans a rare glimpse of his life.
The 56-year-old actor, who made is Instagram debut on Sunday, posted pictures of Pataudi library at his residence.
"Pataudi Library.. Judging books by their cover," the actor wrote under his first social media post. In the pictures, the actor looked dapper in a navy blue kurta set. In one of the pictures, the actor appeared to be relaxing on a high-backed chair, while flipping through pages of a book.
His bio is also very short and crisp. It reads: "Hey there!"
So far the actor is only following his wife, Kareen Kapoor Khan.
The actor, often hailed as the OG Gen Z by his fans, recently went viral on social media for his candid reaction to winning a two-year supply of a reputed ghee brand on the latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 18.
The internet found it amusing, after Khan brimmed with smiles and excitement for winning grocery supply instead of cash money. After he joined Instagram, some fans even said, "Winning ghee at KBC made him so happy he joined Instagram!"
Indeed, long before Khan made his social media debut, Saif Ali Khan had already become synonymous with nonchalant comebacks, no-nonsense one-liners and a subtle sense of humour.
On the work front, the actor recently shared screen with Akshay Kumar in Priyadarshan's film Haiwaan.
