Toronto Police say two people were stabbed and sent to hospital in separate incidents Saturday in the city.
According to a social media update on X, police said officers responded at approximately 5:45 p.m. to a call for someone who was stabbed in the Victoria St. and King St. E. area of the downtown core.
Police said a man in his 30s was transported to hospital by paramedics with a stab wound. His injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening, cops added.
In addition, police received more information that the suspect was also possibly armed with a gun, but didn’t provide a description of the attacker.
Cops said the investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact police at 416-808-5100.
