The Sierra Leone Civil Aviation Authority (SLCAA) has reminded passengers departing from or arriving at Freetown International Airport of the mandatory requirement to complete applicable Health Declaration Forms before travelling.
In a public notice, the authority said all passengers using the airport must comply with the health declaration requirements before departure or arrival.
The SLCAA warned that passengers who fail to meet the requirements risk being denied boarding.
To avoid travel disruptions and ensure smooth passenger processing, the authority advised travellers to complete their Health Declaration Forms before proceeding to Freetown International Airport and keep the completed forms readily available for verification when required.
The authority also urged airlines, travel agencies and other relevant stakeholders to inform passengers about the requirements and support efforts to ensure compliance.
The SLCAA said the measure forms part of its commitment to promoting safe, orderly and efficient air transport operations in Sierra Leone.
