Golden State Valkyries forward Gabby Williams brushed off injury concerns after she appeared to hurt her left leg late in her team's 68-64 win against the Atlanta Dream in Game 1 of the WNBA Finals on Saturday, Oct. 17.
With 2:15 remaining in the fourth quarter, Williams made two free throws to cut the Dream's lead to 64-63. But while boxing out Williams' second free throw, Dream guard Jordin Canada bumped into Williams and knocked her down, then tripped over her while Williams was on the ground. After the collision, Williams was seen limping and grimacing while holding her left knee, but she played the rest of the game.
