Barcelona captain Raphinha reportedly gave a speech to his team-mates in the locker room in the wake of Tuesday’s defeat to PSG in the Champions League.
Hansi Flick’s side were beaten 4-2 by the European champions as they suffered their first reverse of the 2026-27 campaign.
After the game, Raphinha urged the players to move on quickly from the loss and start focusing on beating Real Madrid in El Clasico instead, per Cadena Ser.
Reporter Santi Ovalle says Raphinha’s message went along the lines of: “He gave a speech telling them to stay calm, to keep doing our job, to stay calm. A very important match is coming up, a Clasico, and we have to keep proving ourselves and not let this defeat affect us more than usual, since there’s still a lot of Champions League left.”
Raphinha spoke after the game to the media, insisting the result won’t affect his team’s Clasico preparations. Barca know a victory at Camp Nou on Sunday will see them move nine points clear of their rivals.
