A decade of DFC
Under the vision and patronage of HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE, Minister of Defence of the UAE, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, DFC began 2017 as a movement to get the city active and showcase its extensive sporting infrastructure.
Just last year the event saw a record-breaking 3 million total participants, across all DFC events. Far more than being just a fitness event, the annual activation also brings together Dubai’s vibrant multicultural tapestry.
