Ex-Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer has been seen enjoying a pint at a famed Hampstead pub with a long, star-studded list of fans.

The former Labour leader, who resigned last June amid mounting pressure from party members and dire poll ratings, was seen outside the Spaniards Inn Pub.

Built in 1585, the Grade-II listed boozer offers a long list of beers and ciders, with some of the most expensive priced at £9.

The watering hole was once frequented by the likes of Charles Dickens and John Keats, but today welcomes Hollywood's elite.

Taylor Swift, her ex-boyfriend of six-and-a-half years, Joe Alwyn, as well as Ariana Grande, Dua Lipa, Sam Smith, Liam Gallagher and Harry Styles are rumoured to have visited the celebrity haunt.

Earlier this week, the UK's former leader visited the Spaniards Inn, dressed in a muted green shirt, black trousers and trainers – much more casual than his usual suit and tie.

The Labour MP for Holborn and St Pancras was seen chatting with a group of friends outside the prestigious pub before they appeared to head towards the garden.

But it is not the first time Sir Keir has been spotted enjoying a pint or two.

Earlier this year, he was seen at a Kentish Town pub clutching a pint alongside former Chancellor Rachel Reeves after quitting No10.
