Burnley have escaped the relegation zone and will intend to stay out as they host Wolverhampton Wanderers on Friday night (20:00 BST).
An unbeaten run of three games (D2 W1) has lifted the Clarets out of the bottom three on goal difference.
Though Wolves have seen themselves pushed out of the play-off places after a disappointing 3-1 loss to Bolton Wanderers in the midweek and have two points to make up to get back in.
- Burnley have lost just one of their last 11 league games against Wolves (W5 D5), going down 1-0 in December 2023.
- Wolves are without a win in eight league visits to Burnley (D4 L4) since a 2-1 Premier League win in 2009-10.
- Burnley have now failed to win any of their last 20 home league games since a 2-0 win over Leeds in October last year (D10 L10); it's the current longest streak across England's top four tiers, though the Clarets have lost just two of their last 64 matches at Turf Moor in the Championship specifically.
- Wolves have lost each of their last two league games, and will be looking to avoid losing three in succession in the Championship for the first time since a five-match streak between February and March 2017.
- This season in the Championship, Burnley have conceded seven set pieces goals (incl. penalties) – the joint-most of any side in the competition. It's also already one more than they conceded throughout their entire last Championship campaign in 2024-25.
