The Eagles will get DeVonta Smith back for Sunday’s game against the Panthers after the wide receiver missed two games with a hamstring injury. Smith returned to practice Thursday, was listed as limited, and finished the week as a full participant Friday. Philadelphia did not give him a game designation, clearing him to return against Carolina.
Is DeVonta Smith playing today?
Yes. Smith is expected to play in Week 6, giving Tanner McKee one of Philadelphia’s top receiving options in his first start of the season. Smith last played in the Week 3 loss at Chicago. His return comes as the Eagles attempt to end a three-game losing streak without Jalen Hurts or Saquon Barkley.
Dontayvion Wicks is also available, giving offensive coordinator Sean Mannion more options as he builds the passing game around McKee.
