A meagre consolation prize.
Despite enduring a nightmare against PSG, Erling Haaland still managed to set an impressive record on matchday two of the Champions League.
Scoring twice to reduce the deficit, the Manchester City striker made history in Europe's premier club competition with his 60th and 61st goals.
According to StatsduFoot, the Norwegian has become both the fastest player to reach 60 Champions League goals (60 matches) and the youngest (26 years and 85 days).
Erling Haaland thus dethrones Lionel Messi, who held both records, having scored 60 goals in 80 matches at the age of 26 years and 86 days.
