Roma is already looking ahead to the January transfer window with the goal of expanding Gian Piero Gasperini’s options.
The Giallorossi intend to make the squad more competitive and equipped to tackle the season’s numerous fixtures.
This strategy was confirmed by sporting director Tony D’Amico, who yesterday evening reiterated the club’s willingness to evaluate new signings. The management’s focus is primarily on several players identified in recent months, with the intention of seizing any opportunities in the next transfer window.
Speaking to Sky Sport, D’Amico confirmed Roma’s willingness to support Gasperini’s work while maintaining a high level of focus on current commitments: “January is a long way off, now we’re focusing on ourselves. Then we’ll do our best to give the coach the resources to best tackle every match.” These words confirm the club’s commitment to ensuring greater depth in the squad.
According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Roma remains interested in Jayden Oosterwolde, a Fenerbahce winger they followed last summer. His potential move to the capital, however, will depend strictly on his fitness, given that an injury had delayed the move in the previous months. Should the player have fully recovered and offer sufficient athletic promise, the club could reconsider his acquisition.
In addition to the Dutchman, Endrick remains one of the names being monitored by Roma ahead of the winter transfer window. The young Brazilian striker remains in the Giallorossi’s plans despite statements from José Mourinho, which have not changed their interest in him.
