The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has restored its bus service between Fateh Jang and Islamabad following a request from Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan.
According to a statement shared by the governor, the suspension of the service had caused difficulties for students, employees and other daily commuters traveling between the two areas.
Taking notice of their problems, Governor Saleem Haider contacted CDA Chairman Sohail Ashraf and requested the restoration of the bus service.
The service offers an affordable travel option, with passengers paying just Rs. 50 per trip. The governor’s statement highlighted its importance for commuters facing rising living costs.
Saleem Haider thanked the CDA chairman for cooperating with his request and helping restore the service for the public. The restoration follows an earlier announcement regarding changes to Islamabad’s feeder bus network, which included discontinuing the FR-13 route between Golra and Fateh Jang.
