Luxembourg’s state weather service Meteolux has issued a yellow weather warning from midday on Friday until Saturday, with strong gusts and rain bringing a risk of aquaplaning.
Gusts are forecast to reach 40-50 km/h in the morning and 70-80 km/h later in the day, with rain expected throughout.
Cloudy skies and intermittent rain will persist for the rest of Thursday. The weekend is expected to remain mostly cloudy, with heavier rain from Saturday evening into Sunday morning and gusts of 50-60 km/h.
