US-based Ghanaian gospel minister Ps. Prince Kissi has successfully hosted his annual flagship programme, ‘Atmosphere of Worship 2026,’ at the University for Development Studies (UDS), Tamale Campus, in an evening marked by worship, thanksgiving and spiritual reflection.
Themed “My Gratitude”, this year’s edition was more than a gospel concert; it was a gathering centred on thanksgiving, intimacy with God and spiritual renewal. Hundreds of students and residents of Tamale attended the event, where heartfelt praise was offered in appreciation of God’s faithfulness.
The gathering also featured fervent prayers for the student body, the university community and the nation. Prophetic utterances were shared, with attendees experiencing what organisers described as healing, direction and spiritual edification. The event left many participants feeling refreshed and encouraged in their spiritual journeys.
The programme was organised through a strategic partnership with the Student Christian Council (SCC) of the University for Development Studies.
Ps. Prince Kissi expressed profound gratitude to the leadership and members of the Council for their commitment, organisational excellence and spiritual support. He also thanked the management and students of UDS for their warm hospitality and for providing a venue for the gathering.
The evening featured ministrations by three guest ministers: Minister Ceccy Twum, Minister Francis Amo and Minister Yefter Nkansah. Their contributions enriched the worship experience and were a blessing to attendees. Their sacrifice and dedication to the Kingdom were also acknowledged.
In a special tribute, Ps. Prince Kissi expressed his appreciation to his father, Dr Frank Ofosu-Appiah, for his unwavering spiritual guidance, fatherly counsel and ceaseless prayers. He acknowledged that his father’s continued support, wisdom and encouragement over the years had been pillars of strength behind his ministry and the vision for Atmosphere of Worship.
Ps. Prince Kissi also extended special recognition to Mr Patrick Chordson Moore, who served as the event’s music director. His musical ingenuity, disciplined leadership of the choir and band, and commitment to excellence were instrumental in maintaining a cohesive and spirit-filled atmosphere throughout the event. His contribution was described as invaluable to the programme’s success.
Reflecting on the event, Ps. Prince Kissi said his heart was filled with gratitude to God for what had taken place in Tamale. He thanked the people of Tamale, UDS, the SCC, the guest ministers and everyone who supported the vision through prayer and attendance.
He also expressed his hope of returning to Tamale in the coming years for what he described as an even greater manifestation of God’s glory.
Atmosphere of Worship continues to pursue its mission of lifting the banner of Christ through worship across cities and nations.
