Next Securities has opened a new work hub in Seoul's Sinnonhyeon district and expanded its flexible work arrangements.
The brokerage said on the 15th that it recently opened the Sinnonhyeon office to add workspace for some of its product and service development and technology teams. The office will serve as a base where staff working on financial service development can collaborate and engage with outside partners.
Next Securities also plans to run regular exchange programs between its existing office and the Sinnonhyeon site. The company said it will strengthen its collaboration framework so that communication between teams continues even with workspaces separated, allowing new ideas to be turned into services quickly.
On work rules, the company said it has broadened flexibility. It operates a selective working hours system under which employees can adjust their start and end times as long as they meet the total monthly working hours. Core hours are set from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., with staff free to arrange the remaining hours around their work schedules and personal circumstances. The company also allows one day of remote work a week, letting employees choose where they work depending on the nature of their tasks.
"The Sinnonhyeon office is a work hub where technology and product talent and a range of partners can collaborate closely to build new financial services," an official at Next Securities said. "We will continue to improve our workspaces and work systems to build a flexible organizational culture with a high level of engagement."
