Due attention must also be paid to selecting contestants and systematically organizing the various stages of the competition to ensure its successful completion. Contestants should be encouraged to preserve and adhere to the original essence and traditions of traditional arts while also promoting the development of creativity and artistic skills among younger generations.
In addition, members of the panel of judges must pay special attention to ensuring that the competition’s judging system is accurate and fair. Arrangements must be systematically made to ensure that members of the panel of judges evaluate contestants transparently and impartially, based on the standards of the respective art forms, their traditional essence, artistic skills, presentation styles and competition rules and regulations.
Emphasis must also be placed on passing down the experience and expertise of master traditional artists to younger generations. In this modern era of technological advancement, efforts should also continue to make use of digital technologies to document, preserve and disseminate Myanmar’s traditional arts and ensure that they reach younger generations.
