Candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for Ekiti Central 1 Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections, Otunba Emmanuel Fayose, has declared that the Atiku Abubakar and Rotimi Amaechi ticket remains the only pathway to Nigeria’s recovery and progress.
Otunba Fayose, a former governorship aspirant of the ADC in Ekiti State and younger brother to former Governor Ayodele Fayose has declared that President Bola Tinubu must leave office, saying the Atiku/Amaechi ticket is the only pathway to Nigeria’s recovery.
Fayose insisted that the All Progressives Congress (APC) has lost focus and direction.
“Tinubu must go. I stand with Atiku Abubakar. The Atiku and Amaechi ticket is the only pathway to Nigeria’s recovery, as the APC has lost focus and direction,” the House of Representatives candidate declared in a statement.
According to him, the APC-led government has failed on all fronts, with galloping inflation, a collapsing Naira, worsening insecurity and an excruciating cost of living that has pushed millions of Nigerians into deeper poverty.
“As we speak, there are no motorable roads, no functional hospitals and our people are hungry and suffering. Nigerians are hungry, angry and frustrated. The renewed hope promised by the APC has turned into renewed hardship,” he lamented.
He described the Atiku/Amaechi ticket as a balanced combination that offers competence, experience and national spread.
“Atiku Abubakar is a unifier, a successful entrepreneur and a detribalised statesman with the economic blueprint to fix Nigeria. When you pair that with Amaechi’s administrative experience and energy, you have a ticket that can truly rescue this country. At this critical time, Nigeria needs competence over propaganda, empathy over arrogance and experience over experiment,” Fayose stated.
He called on Nigerian youths, political stakeholders across party lines and lovers of democracy to rally behind the Atiku/Amaechi ticket to rescue and rebuild the country in 2027.
“Nigeria is bigger than any individual or party. For the sake of our children and the future of this country, we must make a bold choice. I have decided to stand with Atiku Abubakar because he represents the best hope for a new Nigeria,” he concluded.
