Carolinas Fashion Day returns for sixth year
Alicante’s Carolinas Fashion Day returns on Saturday, October 24, with organisers hoping for a record turnout at the sixth edition of the charity event.
The gala will take place in the gardens of Alicante’s Archaeological Museum, beginning at around 7:00 PM.
More than 100 people from the Carolinas neighbourhood are expected to take part in a programme combining entertainment, fashion and fundraising.
Children take centre stage in fashion show
At the centre of the evening will be a charity fashion show featuring children, organised with local fashion retailers, hairdressers and stylists.
This year businesses from across Alicante are also taking part, expanding the event beyond the Pla-Carolinas neighbourhood and bringing more local businesses into the fundraising initiative.
Participating businesses include Modas Oscar, Shankara, Karay Moda, Granate Moda, Se Tu Collection, Trapitos Moda Joven, L’Attimo Modas and Reme Anton Ceremonias, alongside several local hairdressers and other businesses.
€5 tickets support Alinur children’s project
Organisers have released 600 tickets, priced at €5 each, with proceeds supporting Alinur and its Crecer en Plenitud project.
The programme works with children aged up to 16 through an inclusive approach, providing psychological support for youngsters and their families.
The charity focus remains an important part of Carolinas Fashion Day, with the event using the fashion show and entertainment to generate financial support for the project.
Tickets available throughout Alicante
Tickets are available from participating shops throughout Alicante and directly from Alinur at Calle Santo Domingo 46.
Those unable to attend can also support the fundraiser through the Fila 0 donation account: ES22 0081 1341 1000 0110 5419.
