Bengal have made it two in two after recording back-to-back victories in the Ranji Trophy.
After beginning their campaign with a home win against Delhi, Bengal recorded a commanding 60-run victory over Services in a Group C match here on Tuesday.
Bengal set Services a target of 209 in a low-scoring game at the Palam A Ground. But their spinners, especially Pradipta Pramanik (4/48), ensured that it was tall enough for the Services.
The home team got bowled out for 148 in the second innings.
In a contest in which neither side could cross the 200-run mark, Bengal's first-innings total of 184 remained the highest.
Opener Nitin Tanwar was the only Services batter to provide some resistance with a gritty 49, but his was one of the three wickets claimed by left-armer Shahbaz Ahmed. Aamir Ghani took 2/40.
Shabaz, who had a four-wicket haul in the first innings, was declared Man of the Match.
It has been a promising start to the season for Bengal. While it was the pacers who played a crucial role in their win over Delhi, this time the spinners stepped up showing their skills.
Brief scores: Bengal 184 & 146. Services 122 & 148 (Nitin Tanwar 49; Pradipta Pramanik 4/48, Shahbaz Ahmed 3/44, Aamer Gani 2/40). Bengal won by 60 runs.
