Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has appealed to President Bola Tinubu and his son, Seyi Tinubu, for additional payment following his participation in an All Progressives Congress (APC) rally in Lagos.
The singer made the appeal after reportedly experiencing physical exhaustion while entertaining supporters at the political gathering held at Onikan Stadium, Lagos State, on Tuesday.
Portable was among the entertainers who participated in activities supporting Tinubu and the ruling party ahead of the 2027 general election.

Videos circulating on social media showed the singer moving around the venue and interacting with attendees during the event.
However, one clip captured a visibly exhausted Portable lying on the stadium floor and insisting that he wanted to see Tinubu and Seyi Tinubu before leaving the venue.
His manager, Babylov, was also seen trying to persuade him to get up as they prepared to leave the stadium.
Portable Demands More Money After Rally
In the viral video, Portable complained about the physical strain he had experienced at the rally, claiming that the crowd had nearly crushed him.

Although he acknowledged receiving payment for attending the event, the singer argued that the stress he endured warranted additional compensation.
He was heard appealing directly to the president and his son, while expressing confidence in Tinubu’s electoral prospects.
“I want to see Tinubu and Seyi Tinubu; they have almost squeezed me to death. I have fainted; it is Tinubu that is winning. Did we not collect money? Tinubu, pay me more money; I am feeling so much heat,” Portable said.
The singer’s remarks have drawn attention online, particularly his request for additional payment after acknowledging that he had already been paid to participate in the rally.
