LAHORE – Saudi Arabia’s booming property market landed in Pakistan, bringing investment opportunities in holy cities of Makkah and Madinah, as well as Riyadh and Jeddah, directly to Pakistani investors through major three-day real estate exhibition in Lahore.
Saudi–Pakistan Real Estate Expo 2026, inaugurated on October 21 at Lake City, amassed 19 participating companies and organizations, marking another promising development in the expanding economic relationship between Islamabad and Riyadh. The exhibition continues until October 23, and is expected to attract around 5,000 visitors, including 1,000 qualified investors, as Saudi developers seek to establish direct connections with Pakistan’s growing investment community.
Makkah, Madinah Properties
For Pakistanis interested in exploring real estate opportunities in Saudi Arabia, the exhibition has created a direct channel to some of the Kingdom’s major property markets.
Developers are showcasing residential and investment projects in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh and Jeddah, giving visitors access to information about developments across four important Saudi cities.
Attendees can meet company representatives, explore investment opportunities and learn about property ownership requirements and regulations governing the Saudi real estate market. The exhibition also enables potential investors to discuss purchasing arrangements, available developments and investment procedures directly with participating developers.
Importantly, property purchases by foreign nationals remain subject to Saudi laws, with specific restrictions and requirements applying to Makkah and Madinah.
The participation of 19 entities highlights the growing commercial interest in strengthening real estate connections between the two countries. With approximately 5,000 visitors anticipated over three days, the event is positioning Lahore as a meeting point for Saudi developers and Pakistani investors.
Around 1,000 qualified investors are expected to attend, creating opportunities for serious business discussions and potential future partnerships. Beyond individual property purchases, the exhibition is designed to encourage cooperation between developers, investors and businesses seeking to enter new markets.
Potential areas of collaboration include residential development, commercial property investments, joint ventures and real estate-related services.
Saudi–Pakistan Business Council (SPBC), one of the exhibition’s supporting organizations, has encouraged Pakistani investors to explore the Kingdom’s expanding property sector. The council has emphasized the opportunity to connect directly with established Saudi developers and discover residential and investment developments.
The event shows broader effort to strengthen economic relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia by expanding private-sector engagement and encouraging new commercial partnerships. By bringing developers and potential investors together, organizers hope to turn growing bilateral economic interest into practical business opportunities.
Vision 2030 turns KSA into Top Property Investment Site
Saudi Arabia’s ambitious Vision 2030 programme is helping reshape the Kingdom’s economy, with real estate development emerging as a major component of its transformation.
The government is investing extensively in infrastructure, tourism, healthcare, education, entertainment, residential communities and commercial districts as part of its strategy to reduce reliance on oil revenues. Major Saudi cities are witnessing extensive development activity, creating opportunities for construction companies, property developers, investors and technology providers.
For Pakistani businesses, these developments could open avenues for cooperation in housing, commercial construction, property management and digital services.
Riyadh and Jeddah remain important commercial markets, while Makkah and Madinah continue to attract interest because of their religious significance and ongoing development. The exhibition offers Pakistani investors an opportunity to assess these markets and understand the rules governing potential investments.
The growing Pakistan–Saudi Arabia real estate relationship is already extending beyond property exhibitions. Karachi-based property technology startup Fortify has incorporated in Saudi Arabia, marking a significant step in its international expansion. Its platform brings together sales, financial management, customer relationship management and property operations, helping developers and real estate companies manage their activities through an integrated digital system.
Fortify CEO and co-founder Syed Zain Ali has described Saudi Arabia as one of the GCC region’s largest markets, highlighting its potential for technological modernization. Ali said Vision 2030 is creating substantial opportunities for digital transformation within the Saudi real estate industry.
He termed Riyadh as first priority for international expansion, reflecting the Saudi capital’s importance as a centre of business and property development. Fortify’s move could also encourage other Pakistani software companies to explore opportunities in the Kingdom’s growing construction and real estate technology sectors.
The exhibition is also expected to benefit property consultants, investment advisers, developers and businesses involved in construction and real estate technology. Pakistani companies interested in expanding internationally can use the event to establish contacts with Saudi industry representatives and explore possible collaborations.
Local real estate marketing platforms are also highlighting developments across Pakistan, including DHA projects in Lahore, Multan, Bahawalpur, Quetta and Gujranwala, along with Bahria Town, Lahore Smart City, Capital Smart City Islamabad, Etihad Town Lahore, Liberty Lands Union Developers, Naval Anchorage Gwadar and projects associated with the Ravi Urban Development Authority.
Other advertised developments include LDA City Lahore, Lake City Lahore, State Life Lahore, Sui Gas Lahore, Fazaia Lahore, NFC Phase 2, Al Kabir Orchard, Urban City, Soul City, Victoria City Lahore and Sangar Gwadar.
