Lawyers from across Bangladesh will swap courtroom battles for cricketing action when the third season of the Advocate’s Premier League BD (APL BD) gets underway on 6 November.
The nationwide tournament will feature 32 teams representing Bar Associations across the country, including the Supreme Court Bar Association, Dhaka Bar Association and various district Bar Associations.
The competition aims to strengthen friendship, professional solidarity and sportsmanship among members of the legal fraternity, bringing lawyers together through their shared passion for cricket.
Matribhoomi Group has joined the tournament as title sponsor, with ACI Limited as the powered-by partner.
APL BD provides a platform for legal professionals to showcase their sporting talent, build relationships beyond the courtroom and promote a stronger culture of recreational sports within the legal community.
The third edition is expected to bring together lawyers from different regions in a celebration of cricket, camaraderie and healthy competition.
The tournament’s motto, “United by Law, Connected by Cricket”, reflects its mission to strengthen bonds across Bangladesh’s legal fraternity through sport.
