According to the ministry, around 1,200 intending pilgrims had not paid the second instalment before the original deadline. Officials are sending individual messages to remind them to deposit their outstanding amounts.
The spokesperson said Wednesday is the final opportunity for the remaining applicants to complete their payments. Pilgrims must meet the extended deadline to keep their applications active.
Applicants who fail to pay by midnight will face cancellation of their Hajj applications. The ministry has urged those with pending dues to act within the remaining time.

However, applicants whose registrations are cancelled will receive a refund of their first instalment. The ministry confirmed that the initial payment would be returned to affected pilgrims.
The extension gives the remaining applicants one additional day to meet the government scheme’s payment requirements. Pilgrims who have not paid should complete the second instalment before the deadline to avoid cancellation.
