Dhangadhi, October 12
The Seti Provincial Hospital is receiving a Rs 225 million budget in the current fiscal year. This budgetary provision was presented to the provincial assembly on Sunday as part of the current fiscal year’s expenditure plan for the province.
The allocation specifically supports the Seti Provincial Hospital Improvement Programme, which serves as the primary referral medical facility for the Far West Province. Economic Affairs Minister Chakra Bahadur Malla confirmed the budget allocation for this initiative.
Following his assumption of office, Chief Minister Khagraj Bhatt conducted an inspection of the Seti Provincial Hospital. The Seti Provincial Hospital, situated in Dhangadhi in Kailali district, provides medical services to patients originating from nine districts across the Far West region. The facility currently faces significant operational challenges, including the management of patient volume, availability of qualified personnel, and adequacy of physical infrastructure.
