Colombo, Oct. 21 (Daily Mirror) - The Sri Lanka Navy and Coast Guard seized two Indian dhows and two local dinghies while attempting to smuggle a consignment of Kendu leaves off the coast of Udappuwa, Puttalam, today (21).
The vessels were seized during a special surveillance operation conducted in Sri Lankan waters, the Navy said.
Further details regarding the interception and the items seized are expected to be released in due course.
