PEORIA — The Peoria City soccer team will face a development team from the Chicago Fire in a special exhibition match at Shea Stadium on Nov. 20.
The Flying Carp, a defending champions of the Great Plains Division in the USL League 2 pre-professional player developmental circuit, will kick it at 7 p.m.
College soccer’s regular-season will be complete by the exhibition match date, which means all collegiate players on the Peoria City side whose college teams are not in postseason will be able to join the City roster and play.
They will take on the Chicago Fire FC II squad, the Major League Soccer Chicago Fire’s developmental club in the MLS Next Pro circuit.
Tickets for the premier exhibition versus Chicago Fire FC II will be available as a single event or can be included by making a deposit payment for 2027 Peoria City season tickets.
General admission tickets for the Nov. 20 event are $8, and tickets for field level seating in front of Shea Stadium’s main grandstand are $15.
Parking in the Crusens Tailgate Zone will be $5, and the lot will open two hours prior to kickoff at 5:00 pm.
What to know about Peoria City tickets
Peoria City will allow fans to lock in the 2026 season-ticket price structure by making a $25 deposit on their 2027 season tickets through the end of the calendar year.
Last year’s season-ticket prices started at $64 for general admission seating and included admission to 10 games – four exhibitions and six USL League Two regular-season games – at Shea Stadium.
The $25 deposit will guarantee Peoria City will not charge more than $6.40 per game in its final 2027 season-ticket package for deposit participants with the initial payment applied to the final balance. The Nov. 20 exhibition versus Chicago Fire FC II will be included at no additional charge as a bonus game.
Also, the Peoria City club holds season tickets to the SPHL Peoria Rivermen games for the 2026-27 season. The soccer club’s Rivermen seat location is Sect. 102 in Carver Arena, Row 9, seats 18-21.
Soccer fans who want to use those tickets to see the SPHL’s defending regular-season champions can claim them for any of the pro hockey team’s 30 regular-season home games via email to peoriacitysoccer@gmail.com.
Fans making deposits on 2027 Peoria City season tickets may initially request use of up to two Rivermen tickets for one game and the tickets will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Rivermen home opener is 7:15 p.m. Saturday in Carver Arena.
